As explained over the telephone, a full payment is preferred at the time of booking. (Telephone calls may be recorded and monitored)

Deposit

Alternatively a goodwill deposit of £10 per person nightly is required to secure any room. Like all good business practice full payment is due after check in on day of arrival.

To save any embarrassment - this is the legal position with your room booking here at The Captain’s House:

When a booking is made for your bed and breakfast (by letter, on line, telephone or at the door on arrival) you are entering a legally binding contract. If for any reason (such as illness, accident, bad weather, change of mind) the holiday has to be cancelled or cut short, and the proprietors are unable to relet the accommodation then and there, they are entitled by law to make a full charge of the holiday.
